Plan Your First Visit

Visiting a church for the first time can be a tough experience. Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Gospel Light Baptist Church will be refreshing, friendly and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful preaching and teaching, friendly people and a place where you feel welcomed and "at home"! Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect during your first visit.

When are your services?

Our main worship services are Sunday morning at 9:30am and 11:00am. Both services are identical with the same Bible message and music program, so choose the one that best fits your schedule.

8:30 AM | Sr. Adult Class

9:30 & 11:00 AM | Worship Services

6:00 PM | Classes for All Ages

 7:00 PM | Bible Study

Worship is the act of loving and responding to God! Through the heart-warming conservative music, and clear Bible-teaching and preaching in our services, your heart will be inspired to respond to God. Each week, families are strengthened, encouraged, and drawn closer to Him through these special times together. Each service is specially planned and prayed over so that God may work in your life!

How do I get to Gospel Light Baptist Church?

1001 W. Price Lane

Rogers, AR 72758

What to Expect

Our church is located on the south end of Price Lane near South 8th Street. You will see our distinct sign next to the road. The parking lot in front of the church is reserved for visitors and handicapped. As you approach the entrance of our church, one of our hospitality greeters will meet you to direct you to the right classes and auditorium. They can also answer any questions you may have.

Most adults attend one worship service where they enjoy beautiful and inspiring music of the choir, ensembles and soloists. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful and challenging Bible message from Pastor Noel Cwenar. The service is one hour in length. Also during the 10:00am hour, there are Bible Classes for all ages. These classes are smaller group settings where you are invited to meet people, perhaps enjoy some coffee and doughnuts and hear a teaching lesson more directly applicable to your life-stage. The best way to get to know the people of Gospel Light Baptist Church is to attend one of our Bible Classes.

Where do I take my children?

Starting with an excellent nursery, there is something special for every age child. At every service there is a safe, clean and highly staffed nursery for children three years old and younger.  For the infants, mothers will receive a pager so that the nursery workers can contact you if there is a need. For children four years old through 6th grade there are fun, friendly Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well qualified teachers and helpers that will make church exciting and memorable for your child.

What about my teens?

We have a Teen Bible study class that meets at 10:00am every Sunday led by our Youth Pastor AJ Solis and his wife Samantha. Each class is about an hour long and consists of fun, fellowship and a Bible lesson applicable to their life-stage. We also have a College and Career class for our young single adults that meets every morning at 10:00am as well.

How Should I Dress?

There is no dress code at Gospel Light Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more "traditional" Sunday dress; however, our main goal is that you feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Gospel Light Baptist.

Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?

No. We don't invite you to Gospel Light Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
